Colleen competed two horses at Paradise Farm Horse Trials today in Aiken- Your A to Z's (Pickle), a 6 year old TB gelding, owned by Pat Dale and her own Confidence Game (Conn), a 6 year old TB stallion, at Novice and Training, respectively.
Pickle had a great day for his first official recognized competition, scoring a 27.8 in dressage, having a rail down in show jumping and rocking around cross country despite a green moment at the water.
Conn had a good first two phases. He put down a respectable test for a 33 in his division and was very patient waiting for Show Jumping and dropped just a rail. However, he did not agree with the coffin jump on course and stopped out at the B element.
While they both have things to work on, their future's are bright! Colleen will be taking working students and clients cross country schooling this weekend along with some of her younger horses and will finish off next week at the CIC 3* at Pine Top in Georgia.
